Client settings can be managed by clicking the Manage button on the Clients page.
Resend connection request
If an exisiting client starts selling on a new marketplace, they will need to connect it to eComLedger.
If the client can’t find the original email containing the link to the connection portal, clicking the Resend connection request button will send them a copy of the email.

COGS
The COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) tab lets you specify prices for your client’s products using their SKU.
These prices will then be used to calculate the Landed Cost per SKU and populate the COGS journal line in future eComLedger reports.
Import Existing SKU
Clicking the Import Existing SKU button will import all SKUs from eComLedger’s database.
Upload SKU Prices
Clicking the Upload SKU Prices button will allow you to upload a CSV file containing prices for SKUs to eComLedger.
Export SKU List
Clicking the Export SKU List button will download a CSV files containing the SKUs and their prices shown in the table.
Work Flow
First, click Import Existing SKU to populate the table.
VAT Questionnaire
If your client is or has been VAT registered, you need to specify registration and deregestration dates.
This will affect how reports apply VAT to sales.
VAT registration details can be added for as many countries as necessary.

Identical to Amazon’s VAT questionnaire, except that only UK VAT rates are currently supported.
The Connect to Xero button will redirect you to Xero to grant eComLedger access to your Xero organisation.
Map Chart of Accounts
Work Flow
The Select a Xero organisation to map accounts for.
Select which Xero accounts to map to eComLedger Journal rows.
When you select an account, the account’s default Tax Rate will be displayed on the right.
Default tax rates are pulled from Xero for each account and, if changed on eComLedger, will be changed on Xero as well.
The Create Account button allows you create new accounts in Xero to be mapped.
Sometimes, you may want to use the same account for multiple Journal rows but with varying Tax Rates.
For example, all of your client’s sales are posted to the 200 Sales account but you want to adjust the tax rate for VAT Sales, Reduced VAT Sales and non-VAT Sales to 20%, 5%, and 0% respectively.
By clicking the Set tax rate exception button you can set a tax rate exceptions for each Journal row, which, when posting to Xero, will override the account’s defauly tax rate.
The Create Tax Rate button allows you create new accounts in Xero to be mapped.
The Refresh Accounts button will pull the accounts from Xero anew.
This is useful if you decide to create/edit your accounts/tax rate in Xero instead of eComLedger.
Post type
Select whether journals should be created as drafts of posted directly. Default is post directly.
Post monthly
Set whether eComLedger should post journals to your selected Xero organisation on a monthly basis.
View Client
Basic information
The Basic Information tab displays the client’s:
Company name
Name
Email
eComLedger account creation date
Reports
The Reports tab displays a table containing all generated reports for that client.
Edit Client
The Edit Client page allows you to edit the client’s:
First name
Last name
Company name
Delete Client
Deletes the client and disconnects all of their marketplaces.
