Map Chart of Accounts
Work Flow
Select a Xero organisation to map accounts for.
Select which Xero accounts to map to eComLedger Journal rows.
When you select an account, the account’s default Tax Rate will be displayed on the right.
Default tax rates are pulled from Xero for each account and, if changed on eComLedger, will be changed on Xero as well.
The Create Account button allows you create new accounts in Xero to be mapped.
Sometimes, you may want to use the same account for multiple Journal rows but with varying Tax Rates.
For example, all of your client’s sales are posted to the 200 Sales account but you want to adjust the tax rate for VAT Sales, Reduced VAT Sales and non-VAT Sales to 20%, 5%, and 0% respectively.
By clicking the Set tax rate exception button you can set a tax rate exceptions for each Journal row, which, when posting to Xero, will override the account’s defauly tax rate.
The Create Tax Rate button allows you create new accounts in Xero to be mapped.
The Refresh Accounts button will pull the accounts from Xero anew.
This is useful if you decide to create/edit your accounts/tax rate in Xero instead of eComLedger.
Connected Organisations
Connected Xero organisations will be listed here.
Click the Disconnect button next to and organisation’s name to disconnect them from eComLedger.
Day of month Ebay Journal posted
Select the day of the month eComLedger posts Ebay journals for the previous month to Xero.
Since Amazon settlements are generated at unspecified intervals, eComLedger does not allow users to choose the day of the month Amazon journals are posted to ensure journal accuracy.
When the Post monthly option is selected, eComLedger will post the previous month’s journal to Xero once the last Amazon settlement has been imported and the dataset is complete.
